November 11, 2022 Dear Parents/Guardians: The Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center is pleased to host its annual College Credit Plus (CCP) Information Night on November 17th from 6 to 7 p.m. at Mid-Ohio ESC, 890 W. 4th Street, Mansfield. This event is open to all families of students in grades 6-11 for the 2023-2024 school year. Parents and students will learn how your students’ academic eligibility may qualify them to take college classes next school year at no cost. This meeting will provide families with the opportunity to learn more about the College Credit Plus (CCP) program from area colleges and universities. Additionally, students will learn about the Accuplacer assessment that will be required for placement into college classes. Lucas High School would like to thank the Richland County Sheriffs’ Department for their sponsorship of the tee-shirts for our students who wear their seatbelts on a daily basis. Lucas’ School Resource Office, Deputy Pat Smith and Major Joe Masi handed out tee-shirts on Tuesday, October 4 to students as they left school at the end of the day.
